The Friendliest of Regional Jets - Meet the Embraer E195-E2 "Profit Hunter"
Discover the latest (and greatest) single-aisle aircraft offered by Embraer
Embraer is the leader of the regional jet market. Its E-Jet family is flown by dozens of operators worldwide. As were the ERJ-135 and 145. You may have already experienced one of their aircraft. In 2017 the Brazilian manufacturer rolled out the improved E-Jet dubbed the E2. It has three variants: E175-E2, E190-E2 and E195-E2. This article will focus on the latter.
Looking at the cabin setup, one key feature that sets the E195-E2 apart from its main competitors is its staggered seat arrangement in business class. It has been designed by Embraer specifically to meet the needs of its clients. It is already popular in the African market. Unlike most short-haul business class products, passengers travelling in E2s with the showcased setup will appreciate their ability to recline their seats, offering a more comfortable travel experience. Unlike the previous model's 2+1 configuration, the E195-E2 boasts a 2+2 layout, increasing the available capacity to around 125 passengers. In Economy Class, customers can also enjoy a modulable space with seats supplied by either Recaro or Safran. The improved cabin design also allows for easier reconfiguration by maintaining the same tracks and uniform overhead bin dimensions throughout the cabin. Those are larger and capable of accommodating one bag per passenger. Thanks, in part, to remodelling the Passenger Service Units (PSUs). Another noticeable feature is the new window frames, which allow more natural light, giving a sensation of space throughout the cabin.

The Profit Hunter also has an unbeatable range of 2,600nm (4,815km). That’s all of Europe covered!
The E2 is also a pleasure to fly: the transition from the E1 to this new aircraft is seamless and does not require a new type rating. The cockpit boasts four large modulable screens, ensuring a comprehensive and customisable flight display. Synthetic vision technology enhances navigation accuracy, thus resulting in more efficient flight management. The E195-E2 also features full fly-by-wire controls, bringing more ergonomics into the cockpit.

The Profit Hunter is also friendly to our planet. With larger Pratt & Whitney PW1900G geared turbofan engines, redesigned wings, improved aerodynamics and full fly-by-wire avionics, the E2 achieves up to 25% less fuel burn than previous generation E-Jets. It also is one of the quietest in the skies.

The Profit Hunter is a testament to Embraer's dedication to innovation and customer satisfaction. From its cabin features to the improved cockpit, the E2 is a friendly aircraft for passengers and crew. Its fuel efficiency and reduced emissions also make the Profit Hunter one of the friendliest aircraft for the environment.
